Regen Acupuncture

Regen Acupuncture’s mission is to relieve and prevent disease by providing the highest level of clinical care with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Taehoon Kim is the owner of Regen Acupuncture, PC, which he started in July 2002 in Flushing.  Kim is a licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine practitioner who received a Master of Oriental Medicine from New York College of Health Professions.  Kim enjoys treating all manner of diseases, and has a special interest in helping patients with chronic degenerative conditions, autoimmune conditions, pain management, weight loss, facial rejuvenation, digestive disorders, and gynecological conditions. He is thrilled to bring the rich traditions of Traditional Chinese Medicine to his community and values every opportunity he has to help patients overcome their suffering. Kim sought assistance from the LaGuardia SBDC when he decided to expand the business and needed a small working capital loan to hire additional staff.  LaGuardia SBDC Advisor Xiaoyuan "Wennie" Hanson assisted and advised Mr. Kim with research from the Research Network and information about the loan process. He completed and submitted an application to the Renaissance Economic Development Corporation, which is under the umbrella of Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE).  When Mr. Kim closed on the loan he sent this email: “Thanks for all the help securing the business loan for $10,000 from AAFE and hiring two part-time employees for my clinic. I look forward to working with you to grow my business.”  Mr. Kim was pleased that the NY SBDC could connect him to the resources he needed to succeed with his clinic.
