Corning Community College's Small Business Development Center and the US Small Business Administration are offering a Regional Forum on Government Contracting, Wednesday, August 25th from 8 am - noon. Objectives of this forum are to provide critical information on: Subcontracting opportunities and type of work available with large prime contractors. How to do business with the Federal Government. SBA certifications and procurement preferences (disadvantaged, women-owned, minority-owned, veteran and service-disabled owned, 8(a) and HUB Zone small businesses). Presentations will be made by representatives from: Lockheed Martin Corporation; Sweizer Aircraft, a subsidiary of Sikorsky Aircraft; US Small Business Administration; Small Business Development Center; and Empire State Development.
