Job Title: International Trade Director

Job Description: The International Trade Specialist's principal responsibilities are to organize and manage statewide SBDC international business and trade services to New York companies with respect to foreign trade, business development and cooperation. The Specialist works with SBDC clients, business advisers, and Center Directors, advising them, providing information, making linkages with trade officials in the U.S. and foreign countries, and on occasion, interpreting face-to-face discussions between SBDC clients and global business representatives.

Job Title: NYSBDC Finance Coordinator

Job Description: This position will report directly to the Associate State Director of Operations and Finance for the NYSBDC. The individual in this position coordinates the finance activities of the SBDC, as well as the human resource activities of the Lead Center. The individual manages the finance department at the central office and their support of both the central office and the regional center finances.

Job Description: Reporting to the Regional Director, the Small Business Advisor is responsible for providing business counseling to clients, creating and executing small business training, acting as an ambassador for the SBDC in the community, and following SBDC at BU operational procedures to ensure compliance with NY SBDC, Host and Funding Partners. The Small Business Advisor works together with the SBDC at BU staff to meet the annual objectives of fulfilling the Center's mission of serving entrepreneurs and creating new businesses. Small Business Advisement Services are the priority of this position.

This position supports Tompkins, Steuben, and Chumung Counties.

Job Title: Business Advisor - SBDC Clinton Location

Job Description: SUNY Canton Small Business Development Center is seeking a Business Advisor to provide business advice, assistance and information to entrepreneurs and small business owners at our Clinton Community College location. Will aid in developing business, marketing, and/or strategic plans, prepare financial projections, and coordinate client assistance activities. Work with a large volume of business clients with diverse needs.

Required: BA/BS, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with local economic development agencies, service providers and banking community.

Preferred: Experience in bank loan operations or small business management.
